Summary of Project Output: “Re-discover the Skills Development Education”

“Re-discover the Skills Development Education” addresses the challenges of remote learning and the future of skill development through online education. It focuses on improving teachers’ abilities to teach future skills online and fostering collaboration among educators and students. The project uses webinars to provide flexible, interactive training and communication opportunities.

Elements of Innovation:

The project includes:

  • A didactic unit to produce guidelines for creating webinars, including technical parameters and quality measures.
  • Implementation of webinars to answer key questions on employability skills, project-based learning (PBL), STEAM, and climate change education.

Webinars will feature both theoretical and practical sessions, lasting 3 to 4 hours each, with promotion and delivery ensured through materials developed by project partners. This innovative approach adapts to the shift towards online education due to the COVID-19 pandemic, empowering teachers, education authorities, students, and parents.

Expected Impact:

The project aims to:

  • Enhance teachers’ profiles in using STEAM and PBL for skill development and climate change education.
  • Guide teachers in addressing diverse learning styles.
  • Facilitate the exchange of best practices among teachers.
  • Enable students and teachers to connect, cooperate, and communicate.

Webinars will be widely accessible, allowing trainers to reach many participants simultaneously. Each partner, with the help of selected mentors, will conduct these webinars, providing ongoing support and training.

Transferability Potential:

The project platform will feature a dedicated section for webinars, making them available for later viewing by interested parties. These webinars can be used across various school subjects, promoting communication, networking, cooperation, and the exchange of best practices.
